Sixty first-graders from Henry Heights Elementary School visited Vinson Arabians Stables on Friday as part of a Black Stallion Literacy Foundation field trip. The students have been reading "Little Black, A Pony" by Walter Farley. As part of the field trip, the students brought copies of the book to the stables to read to the horses. The students also learned how to groom and care for the animals.
